Image of smiling man wearing glasses. When your smile is incomplete, we can create partial or complete dentures for our patients. Whether full or partial, dentures are removable appliances made of acrylic resin. They can stand up to a variety of food and drink and give you more confidence in your smile. With proper care, your dentures from Corner Dental will last a long time.

Partial dentures act like dental bridges, filling the gap left by a missing teeth. The prosthetic teeth are arranged on a metal frame that attaches to a crown on a neighboring tooth. A partial denture would normally be used at the end of a row of teeth where you only have one tooth as an anchor. Unlike a dental bridge, a partial denture is completely removable.

Complete dentures provide full replacement, allowing individuals who have lost all of their teeth on the top, bottom or both, to look and function normally. A complete set of dentures is composed of artificial teeth mounted in a plastic form that has been molded to fit the rest of your oral anatomy. You may use a denture adhesive to keep them in place during the day and remove them at night.

Have you lost one or more teeth? Dental implants from Corner Dental may be the solution.

A permanent alternative to dentures, dental implants are a means of restoring not only the form and function on your mouth, but the natural beauty of your smile. Dental implants provide a secure base for prosthetic teeth and give you a strong, attractive smiles that stand up to apples, chewing gum and detection!

The procedure starts with an anesthetic and a sedative to make sure you’re comfortable. We then insert a titanium anchor into your jaw bone. That screw provides a solid, secure base for your new custom-manufactured crown. The crown is then cemented to the anchor to complete your new and improved smile.

Unlike bridges, dental implants don’t rely on the neighboring teeth for support. And because they fill in not only the empty space between the teeth, but also the empty space in the jaw, dental implants help to prevent the bone loss that can occur after teeth fall out. Unlike and full or partial dentures, implants can be taken care of just like your natural teeth. Brush and floss regularly and see your doctor at Corner Dental every 6 months.
