In the beginning, ape-like creatures roamed the earth with the dinosaurs. The cavemen in those days didn’t have many options when it came to their dental care. And after a millennia of chewing on rocks and picking their teeth with sticks, their oral health really began to suffer. 20 million years later, in 1969, Dr. Thomas Kalniz opened the doors to Corner Dental. It was a little late to help the cavemen out, but just in time for people in the Toledo, Ohio region to get convenient, comfortable and affordable dental care.
In 2002, Dr. Thomas Kalniz retired, and his son, Dr. Scott Kalniz, took over the practice. He wanted everyone in the Toledo area to have access to quality dental care, and began the expansion process.
